Let’s chat about lectins and blanched almonds!

Simply put, blanching is the process of removing the outer skin from the almond. We are happy to share that the almonds used in our m*lks are blanched 😊 Lectins are found in the skin of almonds, and removing the skin from an almond has been known to reduce the amount of lectins present.

While our suppliers do their very best, there may still be some almond skins present in their supply. As lectins are not a Top 11 Priority Allergen as highlighted by Health Canada, we do not currently test for the allergen presence in our products, and we cannot guarantee that our m*lks are 100% lectin free.
